HOW TO START WITH JESUS
If you just want to know God better, or if you sense that something isn’t right between you and Him and you wish you could fix it, you don’t need to wait any longer. God loves you and is waiting for you with open arms. All you have to do is respond, and it’s not hard to do!
Admit you have sinned and need forgiveness.
Believe the good news of God’s love for you. You don’t have to “clean yourself up” before coming to God; He accepts you just as you are.
Confess your sins and ask for God’s forgiveness.
Demonstrate your decision by taking practical steps to grow in faith; baptism in water and becoming part of the Church.
Say this Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
Come into my heart and change my life.
I recognize now that I am a sinner and I need you.
Help me Lord, to live for You, to honor You, and give you my all.
From this day forward, I’ll never be the same.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
I STARTED WITH JESUS
Congratulations on your decision to follow Jesus and trust in Him! This is the most important decision you will ever make. We are very excited that you said "Yes!" to Jesus. Whether you are trusting Jesus for the first time, or you are returning back to Him, this decision will have a great impact on your life.
We have some resources and next steps to help you as you begin your journey with Jesus.
WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I SAID "YES!" TO JESUS?
What happened when you placed your faith in Jesus Christ? The Bible calls it “being saved." You are no longer separated from God and have begun a new relationship with Him. When you trusted in Jesus as your Lord, the Bible says that all your sins – past, present, and future – have been forgiven. Jesus’ death and resurrection bridges the gap that sin causes between you and God, making relationship with Him possible.
DAILY DISCIPLE
Start growing with only 5-20 minutes a day.
We believe that our lives can be transformed in remarkable ways by engaging with Christ each day. When we talk about becoming “daily disciples,” we are referring to our individual commitments to allowing God to change us, inside and out.

WHAT'S MY NEXT STEP?
GET BAPTIZED
Jesus asked his followers to be baptized as a powerful outward expression of what God has done in their hearts. Baptism symbolizes Jesus’ death and resurrection and that a person has new life through Him. We will be glad to guide you through this step of obedience.
PRAY OFTEN
Prayer is simply talking to God and having a conversation with Him. Just express your heart; your thankfulness, your needs, your desires, your struggles, everything in your life. You can talk with God anywhere and at any time in your day.
COME TO CHURCH
Church is a big family, and we’d love to have you join us. As we worship and learn together in a true sense of community and connectedness, church can both help and encourage your life and journey with Jesus.
Getting connected to other believers and serving others together can be a great way to grow in relationship with God and with other believers.
READ THE BIBLE
Through the Bible, you can learn more about Jesus and living in relationship with him. A good first step is to commit to reading the Bible just 5 minutes a day. If you don’t have a Bible, please let us know. We would love to give you one!
