Dear Parents,
At RISE, your children are a top priority. We consider it an honor to encourage and equip parents to invest in the next generation (Proverbs 22:6). Our Children's Ministry, called RISE KIDS, is a safe and fun environment for your kids to grow in their relationship with God and others.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Checking In
As you & your child arrive at our parent check-in station, you will be greeted by a member of our RISE Kids team. Upon checking in, you will receive a name tag for your child and a corresponding security tag for yourself.
**Please alert parent check-in personnel of any information that will help care for your child, such as allergies or special needs.
Dropping Off
Your child’s age-appropriate classroom name can be found on their name tag. As you bring your child to their classroom, a Rise Kids volunteer will meet you at the door to welcome your child and any necessary items you may have.
Enjoy Service
After you have completed the check-in process & taken your child to his or her room, wave a quick good-bye & head into the adult worship service. Should we need to contact you, we will page you via text to the number you provided or put your security tag number on the screen in the adult worship service.
Heading Home
When the time comes to pick up your child, please return to the appropriate room & present your security tag to the RISE Kids volunteer at the door. The tag will be matched to your child’s name tag before he/she will be released into your care. A child cannot leave the room, with a parent, without the presentation of the security tag. If you lose your security tag, you will be asked to show proper government identification before your child is returned to you.
NURSERY
6 Weeks - 2 Years
RISE Church believes in ministering to the needs of every age group, including our littlest members. While parents enjoy the adult services, they can rest assured that their babies are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our volunteers create a positive church experience that introduces infants to a love for Jesus early on. Nursery classes coincide with all of our regular weekend adult services.
PRESCHOOL
3 Years - 5 Years
Preschoolers love to learn, which is why each preschool classroom provides interactive learning experiences in a colorful and engaging atmosphere. From illustrated Bible lessons to catchy songs, preschoolers learn God's Word in bite-size bits. Classes coincide with all of our regular weekend adult services.
ELEMENTARY
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Our Elementary grade classes are tailored for our school aged children in RISE kids. We want these children to be able to be taught the Word of God in a fun way as well as encourage and prepare them to take their next steps as they grow up. Elementary services coincide with all of our regular weekend adult services.
WELLNESS CHILD POLICY
Any child entering the classroom must have been free of the following symptoms for 24 hours or more:
Fever, cold/flu, green or yellow runny nose, persistent cough, diarrhea, vomiting, discharge in or around the eyes, rashes and skin eruptions and any contagious disease.
Signs and Symptoms of the Flu may include some or all of the following:
Fever
Body/muscle aches
Runny or stuffy nose
Sore throat
Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
Dry Cough
Headache
Extreme tiredness
We will continue to encourage children to wash their hands upon bathroom visits and we do clean toys and surface in the classrooms between and after services. We are working on setting up an addition hand washing station for kids to help keep everyone healthy. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
PARENT + CHILD DEDICATION
This is a time of celebration and commitment, as we celebrate together the gift that your child is while you commit as their parents to do your very best in raising them to love and follow Jesus. The church commits to support you in influencing your children.
