Pastor Aaron and Erica Grijalva moved to San Antonio, TX to start a brand new church in April of 2017.  Since they relocated their family it has been marked by the grace of God.  From amazing moments where God coordinated divine connection moments to watching their launch team grow organically as people from all over the city came together to see God do something amazing in the SATX area.  With the help our Family of Churches and a committed group of local families, RISE Church launched on September 30, 2018 at Pedrotti's Ranch.  This is only the beginning to what God is going to do and believe that the best is yet to come!

In Isaiah 60, the Bible tells us that we are God's chosen people.  It also tells us that as time goes on the world will become darker and darker.  And our response to this is not to picket, scream, or argue Jesus into the darkness.  He calls us to RISE up with the love of Jesus.  As we RISE the light that is in us will drive out the darkness.  This is where the name “RISE Church” derives its meaning. Our church desires to develop people who love God and give them every possibility to RISE up in their own communities, neighborhoods, and personal worlds so that the light of Jesus is carried to the ends of the earth. 

Isaiah 60:1 NLV

1 “Rise up and shine, for your light has come. The shining-greatness of the Lord has risen upon you. 2 For see, darkness will cover the earth. Much darkness will cover the people. But the Lord will rise upon you, and His shining-greatness will be seen upon you. 3 Nations will come to your light. And kings will see the shining-greatness of the Lord on you.
